About Play Solitaire Free Online US
About play-solitaire-free-online.us
This site does one thing: it lets you play solitaire in your browser, right now, for free. There is nothing to download, nothing to install and nothing to sign up for. Open a page, and the cards are dealt. Close the tab, and you walk away owing nobody anything.
We built it that way on purpose. Most people who search for a quick game of solitaire want exactly that — a quick game. They do not want an app store detour, a login screen or a list of permissions to accept. So we removed every step between you and the first card.
Who runs this site
play-solitaire-free-online.us is owned and operated by Solitairen OOD, a Bulgarian company. If you want to reach us for any reason — a bug, a question about a rule, a correction, a privacy request — write to info@play-solitaire-free-online.us.
What you can play
Twelve solitaire games, each on its own page:
- Solitaire (Klondike, Turn 1) and Solitaire Turn 3 — the classic, in its easier and harder draw.
- FreeCell and Baker's Solitaire — every card face up, pure planning.
- Spider Solitaire with 2 suits and 4 suits — the two-deck favorite at three difficulty levels.
- Yukon and Alaska — no stock pile, big group moves.
- Diplomat, Golf and Pyramid — quicker, lighter games for a short break.
Every game works the same way: large, clear cards with a zoom control, drag and drop or tap to move, Hint, unlimited Undo, Restart, and Auto Play to finish a game that is already won. You can turn the sound off, go fullscreen and change the table color. It runs in any modern browser on a computer, tablet or phone.
Why the game pages are full of numbers
Under each game you will find a guide to the rules and strategy — and a set of figures on how often the game can actually be won. Those figures are our own research, not something copied from elsewhere.
We wrote simulations of every game in Python, using the rules exactly as this site's game code applies them, and ran them across thousands of numbered deals. Depending on the game, the "player" was a simple bot that sees only what you see, a solver that sees every card, or an exhaustive search that checks every possible line of play. Each figure is published with the number of deals and a 95% margin of error, and each game page explains the method step by step.
Where published research exists, we checked our results against it — mainly the 2026 study by Charlie Blake and Ian Gent in the Journal of Artificial Intelligence Research. Our results for Baker's Game, Golf and FreeCell with fewer free cells land in line with theirs, which is a good sign the code is doing what we think it does.
How we use AI
We used an AI assistant, Claude by Anthropic, to help write and review the simulation code and to draft the text on this site. We want to be straightforward about that. The AI did not produce any of the figures: every number comes from actually running the code, and our team checked the results and the text before publishing. When something could not be backed up by the code or a published source, it was taken out.
Our editorial standards
- Every figure has a source. Either our own simulations, with method and sample size, or a named, linked publication.
- Ranges, not false precision. When a result is uncertain, we say so and give the range.
- Rules match the game you play. Descriptions follow this site's rules, even where they differ from the "textbook" version.
- Corrections are welcome. If you spot an error, email us and we will check it and fix it.
What this site is not
There is no gambling here, no real-money play and nothing to buy. There is no account, so there is nothing to lose if you clear your browser. Your wins and a game in progress are saved only in your own browser — our privacy policy explains exactly what is stored and why, and our terms of use cover the rest.
That is the whole idea. Pick a game from the games page, or read more on the blog.
